Lymphatic Sinus Treatments

Helps reduce congestion

Manual Lymphatic Massage applies gentle, superficial pressure to the skin, causing a light stretching and releasing motion. This action encourages the lymphatic fluid to move from congested areas into healthy parts of the body where it can be filtered and excreted.

The main lymph nodes for sinus massage are pea sized and under the jaw/mandible. During a sinus massage the muscles are manually “pre-warmed” and the lymph nodes are stimulated to open and enhance circulatory and lymphatic flow. The therapist uses their hands to find your body’s lymphatic rhythm, direction, depth, and quality. This helps the therapist assess the overall quality of your lymphatic circulation and the best way to drain stagnant fluids.

If you’re in constant pain that doesn’t go away despite treatment, or your sinus pain accompanies a high fever (above 102°F or 39°C), see your doctor immediately. It could be a sinus infection or another underlying issue that requires medical treatment.
