Galentine’s Day

Okay, ladies. Single, married, dating – it’s your time to shine and celebrate everything that makes us amazing, powerful women!

I don’t know about you, but my life wouldn’t be as rich and joyful if it weren’t for the sisterhood that I share with my favorite gal pals. I have a few power circles of truly beautiful and unique women that are in every way my soul mates.

There’s my foursome of cousins power sisters – when life throws us lemons we get together and turn those lemons into “The Bees Knees”! Anyone who’s been to Misfit in Santa Monica knows that’s a sexy martini made of lemons, gin, and honey! A must if you’ve never had it and easy to make for your next girls day!

I’ve got my work-gals and my girlfriends that have grown with me over the past 20 plus years. Without them, life would not be the same, and I would feel, well… a little lost in this big, distracting easy-to-get-lost-in world.

Writers of “Parks and Recreation”, the 2010 American comedy, had no idea they were starting a movement when they coined the term “Galentine’s Day”! In the 16th episode of the 2nd season, Leslie (Amy Poehler) throws her annual Galentine’s party, and the rest is… girl power history!

This past Super Bowl Sunday, Beyoncé called all the ladies to get into “Formation,” to stand together in support of each other for the greater good of our world.

Yes, ladies, this is bigger than all of us because when we get together and laugh and yes, sometimes cry and celebrate our fabulousness together, we are better in every other area of life. We owe it to ourselves and to life.

On Saturday, February 13th, bring your favorite sister-gals to Larchmont Sanctuary Spa for a luxurious day of female bonding. Just bring yourselves. We’ve got the rest covered, chocolate-dipped strawberries, organic gourmet snacks, passion fruit-infused Champagne, and expert pampering.

See you there.

Happy Galentine’s Day!!!
